U16D3. Kinsale A 0 v 1 Leeside A. A very physical and tight game played this morning with Leeside just about shading it overall. With very few chances for either team in the first half, the game went into the 2nd half goalless. Leeside started to take control of midfield and created a number of half chances and looked the more likely to score. With 4 minutes left, Leeside created another opportunity on the right side for the ever busy John Mulcahy to test the keeper only to parry his save and Johnny Fitzgerald followed in poacher like to tap into the empty goal. The back four (special mention to Charlie McCarthy and Dylan Fox) and James Casey in goal nullified the Kinsale attack all game and held on for the well earned 3 points.
